My name is Lisa Collomb Gandolfo and through this new podcast, I’m hoping to shed light on my friend Chalice Paul. She was born as Chalice Alford on August 31, 1947 and disappeared in the summer of 1981 and is presumed to be dead.
Her second husband was John Paul Sr., the infamous race car driver and convicted drug smuggler of the late 1970’s and early 1980’s with whom she was presumed to be last seen in the Florida Keys before she went missing.
In the first episode, I interview Pam Keyser, who was roommates with Chalice at the Jacksonville YWCA in the mid 1960’s.
My Guest Pam K. Keyser is a published author whose first book, The Red Glass: From Abuse-Hell to Living-Well, was published in 2009 and she is currently working on a second book.
In this second episode, I take a call from Kathy Kelley, a friend of Chalice who had flown with her when they were both flight attendants (a.k.a. stewardesses) for Delta Airlines through the 70’s.
For this Episode, I have an in depth discussion with retired Key West sergeant, Joe Arbie. Joe had known and helped Chalice while she was estranged from John Paul Sr. and staying in Florida shortly before her disappearance.
Chalice’s roommate and casting agent for Burt Reynolds Sharky’s Machine Film was the last person to see Chalice alive in Decatur, Georgia where Chalice rented a room before departing for Florida to meet up with John Paul Sr.
In part one of a two part interview, I go in depth speaking with John Paul Sr.’s son, Michael Paul who sheds light on a wild, and sometimes violent, home life.
